The New Member of The Family

I can't believe that I did not inform you and introduce you to the new member of the Hernandez Family. He has been with us since Oct. 2008, he was a few days old. This is our pet budgie...and take a wild guess at his name...give up...R2-D2...Gee, I wonder who came up with that name? Could it have been our number one fan of Star Wars Sahaily...YES!! I wanted the name, Mr. Bean, but I was outvoted by everyone in the family. So, I introduce you R2- D2

Butterflies

A fun day with the family in Niagara Falls. We went to a Butterfly museum...the girls had a blast, Sahaily was a bit disappointed that none landed on her.

These little monkeys

Sahaily had a loose tooth and she didn't want anyone to pull it out... But it came out because she and her sister decided to practice boxing(don't ask me why, or how they got this idea)

Never too late

This is Luis's first day back to school...we are all so very excited for him...he has enrolled in the police program. At the end of this month, he will be taking his first exam for the RCMP( it's a 6 step process).

What not washable!!!

We had an incident about month and 1/2 ago...Alondra Elisa wanted to help dad with some house repairs...Luis was using a foam insulation type of glue and Alondra Elisa decided to put some on her hair...So she had to get a hair cut...so here is the picure before, her long hair, and now...short..

Where are they hiding this time?

Alondra Elisa and Samantha love to spend time sitting under the sink, it's the perfect fir for them.

It's a bit hard to see, but that is Samantha under the Christmas tree, that was her favorite place to go when we were in the family room.

I was preparing lunch, Samantha was asleep, or so I thought, I went to her bedroom, and who did I see in the crib with her? Alondra Elisa...yep, she had woken her sister up, they were in the crib playing and laughing.

Our Christmas Day!

We had a White Christmas for 2008, after all the snow storms..our daughters were very excited, making sure the cookies were ready for Santa...It has been a tradition to make home made cookies for Santa...Sahaily invited a friend over, she had lots of fun. Seeing that I didn't have enough rolling pins, I used my creativity, cups, wow! they worked....lots of the icing didn't even make it on the cookies, I kept catching the girls taking a few licks...
